With
my extensive background in new home construction and sales, it
was a natural transition to get my real estate license and
combine my knowledge and experience on the building side of the
business with real estate sales and marketing. As an award
winning builder from Macon, Georgia, I was selected to build the
first ever Southern Living Showcase Home in my
hometown in 1996. I've been the recipient of such honors as
Best Kitchen Design and Best Bath Design by my
industry peers and I have served two terms as the Director of
the Macon Homebuilder's Association.
Today, as a REALTOR®, I offer full
real estate services to my clients, working with Sellers to
market their homes and working with Buyers to find the right
home. As a builder, I understand the dynamics of the housing
market, zoning issues and requirements, costs of materials and
labor, and the value of features and design. I am pleased to be
able to pass this unique perspective onto my clients and
attribute my success as a REALTOR® to my extensive industry
knowledge. Of course, I believe that my background in education
helps too...I not only rely on my expertise as a builder to
assist and advise my clients on selling or buying a home, but
also on my skills as a former teacher to help walk my clients
through the complex processes inherent in any real estate
transaction to ensure they're making educated and informed
decisions.

As a
former teacher, you know I appreciate the importance of
education. Effective in 2008, the Georgia Real
Estate Commission will not require licensees to have 12
hours of continuing education for each year of our
4-year licensing period. This is double the
previous requirements.
I never
have to worry about meeting state standards because I
think it is incumbent upon us to learn as much as we can
and stay on top of the latest information - so I take
advantage of every educational opportunities I can to
become a better agent and in turn, help my clients more
effectively.

What
do all these designations mean? It means
that I've taken the time and made the effort to
further my education and gain further expertise
in certain areas. The better prepared and
more knowledgeable I am, the better I can serve
my clients! |

See what others
have to say about me and my services!

My husband Jim and I live on St. Simons Islands along with
our cockatiel Zackary. As builders, we move a lot so we
are in our 5th home on the Island! When not building or
selling homes, I enjoy cooking and traveling and spending time
with our family.
