One of the first and most important steps in finding a home is deciding on the area in which you want to live or invest. Glynn County offers a wide array of areas and neighborhoods each with it's own characteristics and style to suit everyone's tastes and needs.

The key is to understand your needs, decide what factors are most important to you, and choose an area that will be most suitable. Statistics show that homebuyers will first 'buy a neighborhood', then they will 'buy the house'. This essentially means that they are more likely to buy a home that doesn't completely meet all their needs in the neighborhood of their choice before they would buy a home that does meet all their needs in a neighborhood that doesn't suit them.

Take a look around at Glynn County and see for yourself all it has to offer. Unlike most counties, Glynn County is essentially made up of one major city, Brunswick. Aside from the Islands, the mainland is all referred to as Brunswick including outlying areas away from the Incorporated City. North of Glynn County, across the Altamaha River is McIntosh County and the city of Darien. South lies Camden County, home of King's Bay Naval-Sub Base and historic St. Mary's.
